Background / History
Feng Yueshan grew up in a wealthy, affectionate family. His father built Skyreach International, while his grandfather, Old Master Feng, protected him throughout his mischievous childhood. His close friends include Chu Yilan, Ning Sixian, and Zhou Yuanlin. Old Master Feng’s assistance to Chu during Chu Changqi’s control over his life also contributes to Chu’s special care for Yueshan 84 188 231.
As a teenager, Feng spent much of his excess energy racing or training at a boxing gym. After one racing incident nearly caused a major accident, Chu beat him while Ning stood by, confident he could treat the injuries. Feng’s father supported their intervention. The experience frightened Feng enough that he stopped driving in street races for years, although he still attended them 225 236.
His reputation as a womanizer exaggerates his romantic experience. Chu has never seen him take anyone home, and Ning recalls a college relationship that lasted only three days: Feng gave his girlfriend presents but repeatedly chose outings with his friends over dates 145 152.
Appearance
Feng is handsome, although his carefree swagger and theatrical behavior often draw more attention than his features 201.
- Facial features: Thick eyebrows and large eyes; a furrowed brow can make him look distinctly unapproachable 134.
- Hair: Black, commonly swept back in a flamboyant, styled look 134 273.
- Business attire: Wears crisp suits when rested and attending to company matters 134.
- Casual demeanor: Often sprawls in his chair and carries himself with conspicuous confidence 236 238.
Personality
Feng is exuberant, restless, thick-skinned, and fond of organizing gatherings. He enjoys gossip and broadcasts entertaining encounters to his friends, especially when Zhou Tangsi and Zheng Ge embarrass themselves. Good news prompts equally relentless updates; after getting together with Chen Mu, he overwhelms the group chat with details of their relationship 25 84 91 234.
His friendliness is not indiscriminate. Outside his childhood circle, he usually cultivates people useful to his family or business, and he understands the difference between sincere friendship and social performance. Despite his frivolous image, he works with exceptional concentration and finishes his responsibilities before seeking entertainment 152 225.
He is fiercely loyal and willing to retaliate against people who hurt his friends. He accepts Shen Lian partly because Shen improves Chu Yilan’s mood, remains unforgiving toward Wei Maopeng’s betrayal, and becomes frantic when Shen and Sun Binghe are trapped after a tunnel collapse 11 84 193.
Romance exposes the insecurity beneath his bravado. Chen Mu’s repeated refusals leave him embarrassed and heartbroken, and his pride initially makes him withdraw rather than understand Chen’s fears. He gradually becomes more patient and accountable, confronting his family himself and later respecting Chen’s pace, work commitments, and independence 224 228 229 230 233 273.

Growing Interest in Chen Mu
- First notices Chen during an outing associated with Xingkai’s recruitment discussions, finding that Chen’s unadorned face lingers in his memory 133.
- Defends Chen’s endorsement from interference at Skyreach International, then acknowledges both his suitability for the work and his vulnerability to bullying 134 135.

Becoming Chen Mu’s Partner
- Recognizes that wounded pride has repeatedly made him retreat without understanding Chen. He resumes the pursuit with greater attentiveness and asks directly what prevents Chen from accepting him 229 230.

Tunnel Emergency and Zheng Ge’s Exposure
- Notices an unsuccessful call from Shen and Sun after the tunnel collapse and alerts Chu, helping set rescue efforts in motion. He blames himself for inviting them in dangerous weather until Zhou reassures him 193.
