Although the little boy had lowered his head.
His thoughts still showed through his unevenly sized eyes. He simply couldn't hide them.
Feng Ze almost wanted to laugh.
Apparently, the boy had misbehaved today and been told off by his teacher.
Feng Ze asked, "But I like little red flowers. What should we do?"
Tao Zhiyan froze for a moment, then hurriedly said, "Then, then I'll earn a little red flower for you tomorrow~"
Feng Ze looked at Tao Zhiyan. "Only tomorrow?"
"Mmm~ No, that's not what I meant," the little boy said in a soft, nasal voice, gently shaking his head and tugging at Feng Ze. "I'll be good from now on~"
"I'll earn a little red flower for you every day, okay?"
Tao Zhiyan was a little too easy to coax.
A hint of amusement entered Feng Ze's eyes, and he nodded. "Okay."
The wonton shop on the street corner wasn't far away, and they arrived in no time.
The owner's son had brought a table and chair out to the entrance to do his homework. The mere sight of homework gave Tao Zhiyan a headache. Clutching his head, he hurried inside as though he couldn't bear to look at it for even a second.
The owner couldn't help laughing when she saw him. This little munchkin was simply too cute.
Peach's Mom ordered two bowls.
She and Tao Zhiyan would share a large bowl, while Feng Ze would have a small one to himself. Just right.
Finding Tao Zhiyan adorable, the owner gave them a few extra wontons.
Tao Zhiyan was a sweet talker. His constant cries of "Auntie, you're the best!" left the owner positively beaming.
"Mommy~" Tao Zhiyan looked at Feng Ze's bowl, then spread out his little hand. "I'm going to eat five today!"
