The moment the Moments post went up, anonymous likes and replies flooded in. In less than thirty seconds, the count had hit 99+.
[Anonymous: ??? Huh??? What a niche mistress.]
[Anonymous: Shit, could that be my little brother?! My dad just died too! Ask if his last name is Jiang?]
[Anonymous: Who is it? Who is it? Come on, man, why are you posting anonymously?! I'm dying here. Can you tell us who?]
[Anonymous: ???? What kind of wild gossip is this?!]
[Anonymous: What's the big deal? My boyfriend slept with my dad too. They think I don't know, but little do they know I'm into being cheated on.]
Apparently, even the mental states of the rich were ahead of their time.
Tao Zhiyan checked the time, put his phone away, and prepared to return to the dining room to clear the table.
But the moment he opened the door, he saw Feng Ze heading upstairs with a cold expression.
"Have you finished eating?" Caught slacking off, Tao Zhiyan stood awkwardly in the doorway, his mind racing to come up with an explanation.
Feng Ze paid him no attention at all, striding straight upstairs on his long legs.
A little intimidated by Feng Ze's demeanor, Tao Zhiyan thought he looked rather upset.
Feng Ze was indeed very upset.
That anonymous Moments post had clearly been made by Butler Tao.
Hadn't Tao Zhiyan deliberately tipped him off precisely to tell him about this?
Feng Cheng, oh, Feng Cheng. You've really outdone yourself.
Did he think his older brother didn't exist?
"Wait..."
Just as Feng Ze reached the bedroom door, he heard Madam Yuan's voice.
"Shh, keep your voice down."
Madam Yuan laughed. "You just won't let me go..."
Laughter kept drifting into Feng Ze's ears, sounding utterly delighted.
Feng Ze, who rarely lost his temper, went completely cold. He lifted his leg, then thrust it forward.
Bang! His foot slammed into the door.
The people inside cried out, apparently startled!
"Who is it?!" Feng Cheng shouted. "What are you doing?!"
Then Feng Ze raised his leg again and delivered several kicks right at the lock!
Bang! Bang, bang!
Bang!
Several deafening crashes were followed by screams.
Tao Zhiyan looked up toward the Attic. Hearing the commotion, he sucked in a breath, his heart racing.
Holy shit, what a powerful kick! He just kicked it open?
This was that intense...?!
Tao Zhiyan rushed toward the Attic. Feng Cheng's bedroom door was now wide open, and cries, pleas, and shouting kept pouring out.
"Big brother, listen to me! It's not what you think!" Feng Cheng had only thrown a coat over himself and looked utterly disheveled.
Just as Tao Zhiyan ran over, Feng Ze tossed out an item of women's clothing.
It was purple.
Tao Zhiyan rubbed his nose, his eyes darting about, unsure where to look.
"Heh." Feng Ze sneered. "Do you think I'm blind?"
Tao Zhiyan nodded along.
Exactly, exactly. Look at our eldest young master's eyes-so bright! Do those look blind to you?
"Ze, no, we, we..." Madam Yuan wept pitifully, unable to get a full sentence out. "Don't throw us out... You can't treat us like this...!"
Feng Ze ignored her. After hastily packing their clothes into suitcases, he carried out two large cases.
"No, big brother!" Feng Cheng rushed out first and grabbed Feng Ze's hand. "You can't throw me out! You can't!"
Without a word, Feng Ze shook off Feng Cheng's hand and dragged the suitcases downstairs.
"Big brother!" Feng Cheng grew frantic. "Feng Ze! What right do you have to take my things?!"
"Ze!" Madam Yuan put on her coat and rushed out of the room.
There was no trace of the haughtiness she had displayed at the dining table. She looked utterly wretched.
Tear tracks covered her face, her black hair clung to her cheeks, and her eyes were as red as a rabbit's. She chased after him barefoot. "We really just lost our heads for a moment! You can't be so heartless!"
"Feng Ze! How can you be so heartless?!"
Carrying a suitcase in each hand, Feng Ze glanced at Tao Zhiyan as he passed him.
There was something subtle about that look, cold yet direct, that made Tao Zhiyan feel inexplicably guilty.
Then Feng Cheng and Madam Yuan hurried past Tao Zhiyan too, chasing after him.
Feng Ze tolerated no wrongdoing, and he liked leaving potential trouble behind even less.
That was why he generally preferred to root it out completely.
He opened the door and threw both suitcases outside with such force that their contents spilled out when they hit the ground.
Feng Ze didn't care in the slightest. He turned to the two of them and said coldly, "Get out."
The housekeepers were all stunned by the scene, standing in the living room without daring to move.
Tao Zhiyan ran down from the Attic and was equally shocked by what he saw.
Wait, was this story really that satisfying??
In a scene like this, wouldn't the protagonist usually hesitate and go soft, warn his younger brother and Madam Yuan never to do it again, then choose to forgive them?
Tao Zhiyan looked at Feng Ze, and realization suddenly dawned on him.
No, Feng Ze wasn't the protagonist. He was the villain!
All right, all right. An absolutely cold-blooded villain!
"What right do you have to throw me out? Who do you think you are?!" Feng Cheng's chest heaved violently. He simply threw caution to the wind. "So what if she and I are close? Who are you to interfere?!"
Huh!!?
The housekeepers' eyes widened in shock.
Close?? Elaborate. How close?
"Dad wronged my mom and left everyone calling her a homewrecker!" Feng Cheng glared at Feng Ze, seemingly determined to vent all the resentment he had accumulated over the years. "I just wanted to get back at him!"
"So what if his body's barely cold? What the fuck do I care?!"
Feng Cheng's face flushed with anger. "Besides, Dad and Madam Yuan never even registered their marriage! What right do you have to kick me out?!"
Seeing the brothers face off like this, Madam Yuan no longer dared to speak.
This was the first time Tao Zhiyan had ever seen someone so shameless.
He openly admitted he wanted revenge and even spouted such outrageous nonsense.
Did these domineering-CEO novels have no sense of basic morality? Did the author even have any decent values?!
Tao Zhiyan was shaking his head and clicking his tongue when he suddenly remembered that he had written all these trashy, melodramatic scenes himself. He immediately quieted down.
"I'm now the Feng Family Heir." Feng Ze's tone remained calm, as though he hadn't been angered at all. Looking at Feng Cheng, he asked, "What right do you think I have?"
Feng Cheng clenched his fists. "That still doesn't mean you can throw me out. Dad owed me!"
"Owed you? Do I need to explain again how your mother conceived you?" Feng Ze raised his brows slightly and stared at Feng Cheng.
Back then, Feng Cheng's birth mother had drugged their father unconscious and forced herself on him.
During her pregnancy, she had also used the child to extort over ten million from the Feng Family, nearly taking the matter to court. Everyone knew about it.
"You're well past eighteen now. The Feng Family owes you nothing. At the very least, I, Feng Ze, owe you nothing."
Feng Ze couldn't be bothered to waste more words on him. "I'll say it one last time. Get out."
"You, you fucking...!" Feng Cheng's eyes went red with fury. His head buzzed, his mind instantly going blank. "You really think Dad valued you? He brought you back from the Orphanage just to use you as a blood supply!"
His body shook uncontrollably. Blood rushing to his head, Feng Cheng lunged at Feng Ze with his fist raised, shouting, "Someone like you doesn't deserve to live!"
Feng Ze stood in the doorway, his black eyes shifting sharply, cold and piercing.
He turned slightly aside, dodging the incoming fist, then grabbed Feng Cheng's wrist and twisted his arm behind his back.
His bones made a clicking sound.
"Aah!" Feng Cheng screamed in agony.
Then Feng Ze grabbed his collar and hurled him out the door.
Feng Cheng flew several meters before crashing heavily to the ground.
"Cheng, Cheng!" Madam Yuan ran over and helped Feng Cheng up.
Almost at the same instant, Feng Ze shut the door.
It closed with a bang, swift, decisive, and utterly merciless.
Coming to her senses, Madam Yuan pleaded tearfully outside, pounding on the door.
But Feng Ze seemed not to hear her. He turned to look at Tao Zhiyan.
Having witnessed this gloriously satisfying scene in person, Tao Zhiyan's heart raced, and he instinctively looked back at Feng Ze.
Wasn't this guy a little too villainous?
He was so ruthless!
Then light began gathering above Feng Ze's head, where there had previously been nothing.
Tao Zhiyan blinked, curiosity stirring within him.
Had Feng Ze's character introduction appeared too?
What role would someone this ruthless have?
Tao Zhiyan intended to take a good look. After flickering for a few seconds, the light above Feng Ze's head suddenly revealed a single word-[Husband.]
*?*
Tao Zhiyan froze. A moment later, unwilling to believe his eyes, he rubbed them.
When he opened them again, the words above Feng Ze's head had changed to [In three seconds, he will walk toward you.]
Then Feng Ze stepped closer.
