Tao Zhiyan felt like he had been played.
Though he had been pretty flustered when Feng Ze leaned in just now.
Now that Feng Ze had changed his tune, however, he somehow felt a little disappointed.
Tao Zhiyan opened his eyes and saw Feng Ze smiling.
Tsk.
Suddenly, Feng Ze seemed a little annoying.
Tao Zhiyan smiled. "Of course I'm hoping you'll miss your flight."
To his surprise, Feng Ze not only didn't get angry at that, but smiled even more happily.
The man rarely smiled, but Tao Zhiyan had to admit that he looked gorgeous when he did, his eyes bright and full of affection. "Sounds good."
Tao Zhiyan's heart inexplicably sped up. He kept his face stern. "What sounds good?"
"Missing my flight sounds good." Looking at Tao Zhiyan's bright red earlobes, Feng Ze couldn't quite hold back and spoke his mind. "Perfect, actually. I don't want to leave you."
His voice wasn't loud, and plenty of people were passing them on their way through security.
Tao Zhiyan wasn't sure whether anyone else had heard.
He just felt as though something had suddenly struck his heart.
This atmosphere was far too intoxicating.
Tao Zhiyan knew he couldn't withstand a single one of Feng Ze's moves, yet he stubbornly refused to admit it.
"Well, I can bear to leave you."
Tao Zhiyan took out his phone and lit up the screen. "Mr. Feng Ze, it's already eleven on the dot. You only have twenty minutes left."
"Then..."
"Mr. Tao Zhiyan," Feng Ze said, reining in his smile a little, "shall I go?"
Go.
Hearing that word, Tao Zhiyan's breathing suddenly grew heavy.
That sense of emptiness seemed to well up inside him again.
He lowered his eyes and nodded. "Mm."
Feng Ze was half a head taller than him.
