In less than half a day, the Expeditionary Army had taken control of the city, and its most important asset-the grain-fell into the players' hands.

Since the provisions had not been deliberately destroyed, there were more than expected, enough to feed the entire Expeditionary Army for another half month. But so many Minisians had defected or joined the surprise attack that the players' food consumption had increased by half.

And so, the time before their food ran out went from two months back to a month and a half.

There was really nothing to say to that.

The men of the Tia Family had been rescued. Though only half remained, nothing could have been done about that. However quickly the players acted, they could not outpace the dungeon guards, who had long since prepared for the worst.

As for whether Elena would acknowledge the favor, the players could not be bothered to care.

The two nobles who had defected in White Rock City had done a good job, so after taking the city, the players generally left them and the surrendered Minisian soldiers alone.

The Expeditionary Army stayed for a day and stripped White Rock City's officials and wealthy residents of their riches. Once its poor players had finished robbing the rich to help the poor, they happily headed back.

The two nobles, however, did not accompany them. Instead, they took some of their families' loyal troops, parted ways with the Expeditionary Army, and returned to the Minicia Kingdom.

This decision had been reached after another meeting between the players and Elena.

Bringing these two nobles back to the Kingdom of Bagnia would serve little purpose politically, militarily, or economically.

But if they stayed in the Minicia Kingdom as moles, they could prove far more useful.
