It was late at night. There were no security guards in the garden, only a dozen or so investigators standing watch by the pool.
The investigators kept their distance rather than approaching, avoiding any interference with Ke Meng's Synesthesia.
Ke Meng discreetly brought out Big-Faced Cat and stared at it.
He had also taken Big-Faced Cat out in private to examine the Frogman earlier.
At the time, Big-Faced Cat's assessment of the Frogman had been as follows:

Big-Faced Cat had offered no crucial information, so Ke Meng remembered that he had yet to use it to examine this statue.
He stared for fifteen seconds.
Strange knowledge increased!
"Evil Statue" "This statue frequently releases Mental Pollution, which can infect humans imperceptibly. Sometimes, they can turn into half-human, half-frog monsters."
The information was brief, but it had finally revealed part of the truth.

With that in mind, Ke Meng called Luo Yuan. "Captain, sorry for the trouble, but please round up those four security guards and anyone else who ever worked at this villa. They may all be infected."
Luo Yuan replied that he understood, then immediately hung up to get to work.
Ke Meng sat there for a while. All the images he sensed through Synesthesia were of croaking frogs, with no concrete scenes.
The croaking had an uncanny, infectious quality that could affect people, but Ke Meng's body resisted it. It had no effect on him whatsoever.
Anyone else using Synesthesia would certainly run into trouble. It was much safer with Ke Meng doing it.
But these were not the clues Ke Meng wanted. His
