A car glided smoothly onto the highway, and the sleeping centenarian suddenly jolted awake.

Though he was human, he let out a frog's startled croak.
The driver glanced in the rearview mirror and asked worriedly, "My lord, what's wrong?"
Fine beads of sweat gradually formed on Lu Fa's forehead. He looked nervously from side to side, then turned to check the traffic behind them.
"My lord, what's wrong?" the driver asked again. He was growing nervous too, checking the side mirrors for enemies who might be pursuing them by car.
The driver had no idea what enemies would dare hunt his great lord. His lord was so great-how could anyone possibly punish him?
But fanaticism had robbed him of his basic capacity for reflection. He blindly worshipped the great Professor Lu Fa, believing he was a future god who was still lying low.
"It's nothing. Focus on driving. I'll figure something out." Lu Fa took a deep breath, temporarily steadied his panicked mind, and told the driver not to panic.
