Ke Meng and the official in charge from the Half-Ice Continent stood at the edge of the Small World. This was where the Vampire Clan Leader had jumped.
"He jumped in right here," Ke Meng said, pointing to the ground beneath his feet.
The personnel took out little notebooks to record it, then took photographs with their cameras.
Ke Meng stepped aside to let them take pictures.
"The Void is up ahead. We can't go in." Someone flew a drone into it. Within seconds, the controller lost all signal, and darkness swallowed the drone without a trace.
"What's that black stuff swallowing the drone?" Some investigators were seeing the Void for the first time and couldn't help asking the veterans on the team.
"I don't know either. All I know is that the Void is terrifying. Nothing can survive in there," a veteran said, shaking his head.
Ke Meng and the others returned to the central area of the Small World. He pointed up at the Scarlet Moon overhead. "Do you have any information about that moon?"
When Ke Meng had flown to the top, he had taken out Big-Faced Cat to run a check.
But Big-Faced Cat had provided no information, proving that the moon lay outside its detection range.
That was why Ke Meng wanted to get some information from the Half-Ice Continent, but unfortunately, they knew nothing either.
"We don't know either. This is the first we've heard of this vampire stronghold," the official in charge from the Half-Ice Continent said, shaking his head.
After a fruitless night, Ke Meng and the investigators returned to the Moonlight Bar and waited for the night to pass.
The red inside the Moonlight Bar receded, and it returned to its original world.
As the illusory sensation ebbed away like a
