Ke Meng had come across reports about the flood for two days in a row simply through his usual browsing habits. He had not actively sought out information about the flood; it had entered his field of view on its own.
To anyone else, it would have looked like a coincidence.
But Ke Meng did not believe in coincidences. Since his spiritual perception had picked up the cries of certain groups, some invisible connection had to exist. That connection had brought him together with those voices.
"Teacher, where are those voices coming from?" a young female student asked curiously when she saw Ke Meng glance at his phone.
"From the internet," Ke Meng answered, concealing part of the truth. He did not mention which city the voices originated from.
Knowing too much was not good for the students.
