"Yes, I'm leveling on my own," Ke Meng admitted.
Ke Meng had learned Orange Star Language in his dreams. His accent was fairly standard and did not sound particularly strange.
Besides, while an ordinary person might find it difficult for a level 11 player to wander around a level 20 wilderness zone, Ke Meng thought anyone with a little skill could manage it. It was nothing unusual.
"Come to think of it, there aren't many players left in the beginner zone." Ke Meng made idle conversation, speaking slowly as he gradually grew accustomed to speaking Orange Star Language. "Is it just the two of you? Leveling must be pretty slow that way."
"We have a team that helps each other out, but the others haven't logged in yet." The twins smiled and introduced themselves. "I'm Nara, and she's Nina."
The short-haired girl was Nara, the older of the two sisters. Nina kept her mouth shut and said little, her face seemingly expressionless.
Most players on Orange Star had already reached several hundred levels. Only a tiny minority had yet to enter the game, and even encountering one was difficult.
Ke Meng had not expected to meet such rare players. Through Synesthesia, he could faintly see phantom images of their past leveling sessions here.
The wind whistled past, as though someone were calling.
The twin girls' expressions did not change, as if they had not heard that sound.
"Did you hear anything?" Ke Meng suddenly asked.
"No. Why do you ask?" Nara asked, puzzled.
Ke Meng looked at the quiet Nina. The cute girl shook her head, pressing her lips together without speaking.
"Then never mind. It's better that you can't hear it."
Ke Meng realized that the sound was extremely well concealed. His spirituality was so high that he could
