After flying for about an hour, Ke Meng reached the heart of the ruined Dust City.

A tower stood in the center, roughly nine stories tall, with a broken clock at its summit. The clock face had split down the middle, and a third of it was missing.

Eight numerals remained on the damaged clock face. Their shapes were distorted and hard to decipher, in a script Ke Meng had never seen.

What race uses this script? Ke Meng's heart skipped a beat. No such writing was recorded in the Game Core File. Perhaps the game had evolved it on its own.

As he touched the Teleportation Stone in his hand, he sensed that the coordinates were very close. He only had about two hundred meters left to go.

Ke Meng ignored the tower. Getting his pot first was what mattered.

Ke Meng snapped his fingers and summoned an enormous fireball.

With a gentle breath from him, the terrifying fireball rapidly heated up, burning the air. Phoenix-shaped flames spread outward, engulfing all the humanoid dust figures in an instant.

With a whoosh, all the dust burned away.
