Arc 1The Mage Tower and the Gang War

An Kai grew stronger through the Mage Tower, discovered that he was the first boss in the coming player storyline, and returned to Chaos City to exploit the Mountainbreaker Gang’s turmoil. After taking Will-Bukelin as his Wanderer, An Kai watched the gang fall and began looking for a chance to steal from the Evergreen Gang.

  • An Kai left Nameless Town, looted and burned its abandoned buildings, then defeated Reed and his companions and used Reed’s Bounty Tower membership to reach Chaos City.
  • An Kai trained in his oasis cave, maxed out his spells and attributes, then joined Hanks and Reed in taking a dangerous Bounty Tower mission tied to a ruined Mage Tower.
  • An Kai killed Desert Crocodiles and White Stone Giants at the oasis, collected their rewards, and entered the Mage Tower, where he completed an inheritance quest and discovered that he was the main storyline’s first boss.

  • An Kai killed the Bounty Tower’s Earth Mage and Ryan when they tried to seize Sally Bukelin, then accepted Sally’s offer to teach him [Summoning] in exchange for her freedom.
  • An Kai disguised himself, attacked the Evergreen Gang, took Kaili’s Storage Ring, and used supplies from three carriages to provision the Mage Tower.
  • An Kai trained in the Mage Tower until he reached Intelligence 131, learned the second-floor Summoning spell, and left to find food and a place to continue his seclusion.

An Kai trained in the desert, manipulated the conflict between the orcs and Chaos City, and returned to seize control of the isolated Outer City. After taking the Evergreen Gang’s compound, he ordered Polpi to gather the leaders of the Ten Great Gangs.

  • An Kai learned Sally Bukelin had been killed by her master, vowed revenge, and used the Evergreen Gang’s funds and Hanks’s help to prepare for life outside Chaos City.
  • An Kai ambushed the Bounty Tower woman, the Puppeteer, and other targets, then left Chaos City with Will-Bukelin’s help and trained in the desert for months.
  • The City Lord expelled Will-Bukelin, and An Kai learned that Chaos City and other factions were hunting him.

  • An Kai drove the rival gang leaders into a trap, took control of Chaos City Outer City through Hanks, and spent months training while collecting the gangs’ resources.
  • After fleeing the Orc Twenty-Eighth Prince’s forces, An Kai raised his attributes and spells, learned blacksmithing, and completed the Mage Tower’s third-floor trial by enhancing his Meditation Staff to +6.
