Chen Mu followed close behind the other three, carefully watching Liduhong's every move. Bo Wen tried from time to time to coax some valuable information out of Liduhong, but the boy was slippery indeed. Taking advantage of his "youthful ignorance," he gave answers so vague they bordered on absurd. Instead, he managed to draw quite a bit out of Bo Wen. Cheng Ying was even less help: whenever the little fellow asked her something in that innocent voice, she answered immediately.
This boy is far more formidable than I was at his age! Chen Mu grew wary, though his face remained expressionless. After getting nowhere with him several times, Liduhong lost patience with him too. Using vines, he swung forward like a monkey, moving no slower than Bo Wen and the others flew.
The three began to understand how he could survive alone in the Jungle. He knew it far too well. They all believed he had lived in the Jungle since childhood, and Chen Mu was no exception. Only someone who had grown up here could know it this intimately.
This also astonished all three of them. People actually managed to survive in a place as perilous
