Chapter 183: What Did He Want to Do?
The handover was completed quickly. In less than half an hour, everyone in the building knew they had a new boss. All the employees stopped working. For some of Skywing's employees, this was undoubtedly a thunderbolt out of a clear sky. The Raven family might not have ranked among the great houses, but to these employees, who had lived under its protection for so many years, the Raven family was their sky.
Now that sky had suddenly changed. Even the most composed among them could not act as though nothing had happened. Worry was written across their faces, and many even looked at Chen Mu and Wei'a with a measure of hostility. Others gathered in corners, whispering among themselves and occasionally stealing glances at the two men.
Clio announced the news to everyone with a beaming smile, then handed all the information about Skywing to Chen Mu and swept off.
Ignoring the despairing employees, Chen Mu opened Skywing's files.
When he saw the first page, he froze for a moment.
Clio and his personal bodyguard were sitting in the Shuttlecraft. The bodyguard warned him anxiously, "Young master, some of those employees seemed troublesome. Without our help, Cao Dong and his companion might not be able to keep them in line." Before leaving, he had noticed traces of defiance on several employees' faces. It puzzled him. Given the methods of the master and the eldest young master, how could they tolerate employees like that in a subsidiary?
"Ha ha!" Clio laughed, looking thoroughly pleased with himself. "Skywing's situation is rather special. It was originally established to provide a livelihood for the family's less capable members. Basically, it's a retirement home. Some of those fellows only behave themselves in front of my father and
