"What?! You let someone else into Pool Thirteen?!" Titan roared at the three cultivators guarding the Inheritance Spirit Pool's Teleportation Formation.
"Lord Titan, we're truly sorry. That fellow was simply too arrogant! There was nothing I could do!" Hearing Titan's roar, the lead cultivator could only frown and explain.
"Damn it! Spare me your explanations! I've kept Pool Thirteen reserved for all these years so I could break through that final step, and now you're telling me someone else went in?!" Titan roared, murderous fury rolling off him. A terrifying surge of killing intent shot skyward, making all three men blanch.
"Lord Titan, we had no choice either. That fellow insisted on Number Thirteen Spirit Pool, and he's a Legacy Disciple too. Our hands were tied!" another cultivator explained.
"Damn it! How did he know about Number Thirteen Spirit Pool?!" Titan cursed furiously. His killing intent erupted with earth-shaking force, and he nearly flew into a rampage. Suddenly, as though something had occurred to him, he exclaimed, "A Legacy Disciple? Could it be Li Xiaoya?"
"You know him, Lord Titan?" The three men froze at his words and asked in unison.
"Hmph! No!" Titan snorted. He paused, suddenly seeming to calm down, then glared fiercely at the three men. "How strange. That fellow should be a newly arrived Legacy Disciple, so how did he pick Pool Thirteen straightaway? Without someone guiding him, how could he know what makes it special? Most people choose one of the first numbers or one of the last. Could someone have tipped him off?" A cold gleam flickered in his purple-red eyes as he watched them.
"...!" The three exchanged looks.
"Hmph! You'll have to ask the Head Steward about that!" the last cultivator suddenly snorted, looking at the Head Steward, who stood silently off
