"BOOM!!" The two enormous Steel-armored Beetles suddenly spread their wings. An astonishing buzz erupted, followed by a deafening explosion of compressed air that thundered into the sky. Rings of terrifying astral wind burst across the heavens. The beetles moved at an astonishing speed, shooting more than a dozen miles away in an instant, gray light surging over their bodies...
In an instant!
"Scree! Scree!!!" The Steel-armored Beetles opened their enormous, rake-like mouths. Two earthshaking cries rang out, sending rings of tremendous sound waves rippling through the sky...
"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!" A succession of earthshaking explosions thundered skyward. Rings of spatial rifts shuddered through the air. The Corpse Puppet Insects within dozens of miles shrieked as the shock waves hurled them away, apparently knocking them unconscious outright. Those in the Nascent Soul Realm were shaken apart on the spot, bursting into countless splashes of whitish-gray liquid in the sky. It was utterly revolting...
And just then!
"Bzz! Bzz! Bzz!" The two Steel-armored Beetles were not finished yet. Gray light hummed over their entire bodies...
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!!" An astonishing series of air-splitting sounds erupted. The slender bone spikes on the beetles' backs shot out in every direction, extending to a thousand feet in length...
Suddenly!
"Whizz! Whizz! Whizz! Whizz!"
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!" The Steel-armored Beetles shook their bodies frantically, firing their thousand-foot bone spikes wildly in every direction. Even Li Xiaoya inwardly clicked his tongue at their speed...
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" One Corpse Puppet Insect after another was struck by the bone spikes the beetles flung out. The instant a spike pierced them, they went rigid-even those in the Heaven-and-Earth Realm were no exception. Then they dissolved into streams of gray vapor that surged toward the beetles...
