Li Xiaoya fled Treasure Immortal Town after Scarface Chen attacked him, then met the Five-Element Rainbow Ganoderma and was taken to the Heavenly Dao Sect. The sect extracted Guagua from him, but a demonic spy’s attack forced the spirit back into Li Xiaoya, who began plotting an escape with it as the Buddha of the Mystic Gate arrived.

• Zhang Dafu tried to drive Li Xiaoya from the Four Directions Inn, but Li Xiaoya showed him silver and secured a meal before leaving with his money returned.
• Yang Baojin hired Scarface Chen to steal Li Xiaoya’s necklace, and Li Xiaoya escaped the tracker and the Heavenly Money Gang by fleeing Treasure Immortal Town.
• Scarface Chen wounded Li Xiaoya in the woods, but a young cultivator healed him, and Li Xiaoya found the small creature he named Guagua.

Li Xiaoya became Heavenly Venerable Daoling’s personal disciple, struggled with his studies and cultivation, and finally sensed spiritual energy after about a month.

• Buddha Xuanmen discovered that Li Xiaoya had helped the Five-Element Rainbow Ganoderma escape, but decided the Heavenly Dao Sect would not pursue the Ganoderma or punish Li Xiaoya.

After a mysterious senior repeatedly saved him, he joined the Four Friends of the Wang, whose leader revealed the tragedy that brought them to the valley.

• Li Xiaoya’s Disciple Token repelled a Green Wild Boar, but the Five Fiends of Huangling attacked him, pursued him through the valley, and left him unconscious after a Claw Beast shattered his barrier.
• A mysterious senior killed the Five Fiends of Huangling and the Claw Beast, while Li Xiaoya found Yellowblood Fruit in the beast’s cave and hid it from the Four Friends of the Wang.
• Li Xiaoya pretended to have been knocked unconscious, then joined the Four Friends of the Wang as they set out from the cavern.
• Wang Ding told Li Xiaoya how Wang Qingyu had died holding off a third-tier Claw Beast so the others could escape, then gave him a Thunderclap Pearl.
