Li Xiaoya led his companions through the Thirteenth Layer by outsmarting the Heavenly Thunder Beast and found the Twin-Pole Netherflower on the Fourteenth. The flower proved to be bait in a trap, and the arc left Li Xiaoya and Ailishan facing the emerging Hell King Wugui.

• Li Xiaoya smashed the Wooden Dragon Turtles apart to break their formation, then led the group through the Ten-Thousand-Year Tree Spirit’s gate to the Thirteenth Layer.
• The Heavenly Thunder Beast attacked the group, forcing Hai Kuliuyin and Dong Liuzu to escape, while Li Xiaoya helped Di Long Yunyi, Qiong Nanqi, and Ailishan evade its lightning underground.
• Li Xiaoya recognized the Five-Element Pagodas as the key to the next layer, and he used the Five White-Scaled Heaven-Breaking Beasts to activate the towers and open the way to the Fourteenth Layer.
• Qiong Nanqi left the Hell Tower, while Li Xiaoya, Di Long Yunyi, and Ailishan found the Twin-Pole Netherflower and agreed to harvest it together.
• The Man-Faced Crow trapped the three in a gray formation and revealed that the flower was bait for Hell King Wugui, but Li Xiaoya refused to abandon it.
• The flower’s purple mist drained Di Long Yunyi’s magic power, but Li Xiaoya’s Fire Dragon Sword absorbed the mist and gained a new purple rune.
• Li Xiaoya transformed into an Earth Demon Dragon and, with Di Long Yunyi and Ailishan, repeatedly struck the barrier until it shattered, allowing Ailishan and Di Long Yunyi to escape.
• Li Xiaoya bound the Man-Faced Crow and fought through the demon beasts to reach Ailishan, then evaded a death-imbued beam as Hell King Wugui emerged from the vortex.

Li Xiaoya rescued Ailishan, removed Hell King Wugui’s tracking mark, and killed him after a fierce battle. He entered the Sixteenth Layer, where he fought the Corpse Puppet Insects and used them to strengthen his Steel-armored Beetles before confronting a Heaven-and-Earth Realm insect.

• Li Xiaoya battled Hell King Wugui while the Heavenly Thunder Beast intervened, then returned to rescue Ailishan from her barrier and the surrounding demon beasts.
• Li Xiaoya searched the Man-Faced Crow’s memories, found the concealed entrance to the Fifteenth Layer, and freed Ailishan before asking her to help transfer Wugui’s soul mark.
• Li Xiaoya moved the mark into Ailishan, gave her a talisman and the Purple Rainbow Flying Sword, then entered the Fifteenth Layer while she waited for his signal.
• Li Xiaoya and Ailishan evaded Wugui on the Fifteenth Layer, with Ailishan escaping through her Red Token while Li Xiaoya hid underground and later approached Wugui’s cave.
• Li Xiaoya lured Wugui outside, attacked him in his cave, and killed him after overcoming the Hell Crown, his defenses, and his attempts to escape.
• Li Xiaoya retrieved Wugui’s remains and the Hell Crown, recovered his magic power, and entered the Sixteenth Layer, where the Red Token awarded him contribution points and cultivation privileges.
• Li Xiaoya fought a horde of Corpse Puppet Insects and discovered that his Steel-armored Beetles could devour the insects and grow stronger.
• Li Xiaoya watched the insects merge into a Heaven-and-Earth Realm Red-Gold Corpse Puppet Insect, then punched it away and shattered its wings.

Li Xiaoya fought through the Hell Tower to obtain the Twin-Pole Netherflower and reunite with his master, Liu Xian'er, and Zhang Hong. The arc ended with Li Xiaoya recognized as the Human Race Alliance’s Holy Son while Zhang Hong struggled with her lost memories.

• Li Xiaoya evolved his Steel-armored Beetles and fought through the insect-filled layers of the Hell Tower, eventually reaching the Seventeenth Layer.
• Li Xiaoya and his Steel-armored Beetles killed the Insect Mother, found the hidden teleportation formation, and entered the Eighteenth Layer.
• Li Xiaoya discovered that the purple-red mountains were petals of the Twin-Pole Netherflower, touched its core, and was absorbed as the flower closed around him.
• After more than fifty years inside the flower, Li Xiaoya emerged with greatly increased cultivation and learned that the Soul-Restoring Purple Vitality Pill had been prepared for Zhang Hong.
• Ancestor of Snow Domain brought Li Xiaoya to Dao Virtue Hall, where he recognized the Dao Virtue Heavenly Lord as his supposedly dead Liar Master.
• Li Xiaoya received the pill and learned that Liu Xian'er and Dong Santong were at Dao Mountain, then reunited with Liu Xian'er and used the pills to restore Zhang Hong’s soul.
• Li Xiaoya reunited with Zhang Hong, Liu Xian'er, and Dong Santong, learned what had happened to their companions and the Human Realm, and was devastated to hear that Murong Qi had died.
• Daode Daoist Patriarch secured the gathered figures’ agreement to recognize Li Xiaoya as the Human Race Alliance’s Holy Son, while Zhang Hong wept over the memories she had lost.

Li Xiaoya learned that he needed to refine the Human Realm lesser star realm to protect his parents and its people, then prepared for the Race Battlefield while traveling with Zhang Hong and Liu Xian'er. At the battlefield, he took command of Ailishan’s squad and led the team toward Demon Race territory to begin their missions.

• Li Xiaoya recounted his past with Zhang Hong, and she learned that more than a thousand years had passed before she reconciled with Liu Xian'er.
• The Daode Daoist Patriarch tasked Li Xiaoya with reaching the Mighty One Stage, earning one hundred million race contribution points, and preparing to refine the Human Realm lesser star realm.
• Zhang Hong survived her Heavenly Tribulation, advanced to the Great Void Stage, and recovered some memories after Li Xiaoya and his companions helped her through a heart demon invasion.
• Li Xiaoya traveled with Zhang Hong and Liu Xian'er to visit the Upper Realm’s Heavenly Dao Sect, then visited Second Better before Daode Daoist Patriarch sent him to the Race Battlefield.
• Dong Santong joined Li Xiaoya at the Human Race base, where Qian Yu appointed Li Xiaoya captain of Ailishan, Di Long Yunyi, and Qiong Nanqi’s squad.
• Li Xiaoya’s squad clashed with Yu Sanlongzhu and learned that the Dragon Race was targeting Human Race teams while searching for an unknown object.
• Li Xiaoya and his teammates learned the battlefield’s mission and merit rules, pledged to work together, and trained to combine their abilities.
• Li Xiaoya’s team chose to take missions deep in Demon Race territory and traveled toward the Earth Spirit Land without yet settling on how to improve their success rate.
