Early the next morning, the kitten woke them right on time.

Lin Xingmian had grown used to being woken by the kitten. Ever since she adopted Lingling, she no longer needed an alarm clock.

Lingling usually slept in her room, but because Shen Qingling had come over last night, the poor kitten had been forced to sleep in the guest room for once.

Hearing the kitten meowing, they both woke up.

After getting up and washing up, the kitten followed them everywhere they went.

Then Shen Qingling went to the kitchen to make breakfast for Lin Xingmian.

Lin Xingmian stood at the kitchen door, watching him with a blissful expression.

The kitten clung to Shen Qingling's leg and meowed continuously, seemingly wanting to climb onto him. Helpless, Shen Qingling picked her up and placed her on his shoulder.
