Huo Yuhao defeated Dai Huabin and reunited with Wang Dong, then explained to Mu En that her Hundred Thousand Year Soul Ring had been an illusion. After the academy discovered her twin martial souls and Ultimate Ice, Xuan Zi apologized for having treated her poorly.

• Huo Yuhao broke off her fight with Dai Huabin to rush to Wang Dong, then struck Dai Huabin with Ice Empress's Pincers and left with Wang Dong.

Wang Dong revealed his extraordinary progress to Mu En and the others, then secured permission for him and Huo Yuhao to share a dorm room. As they caught up over a meal, Huo Yuhao felt guilty about the secrets she could not tell him and thanked him for his support.

Wang Dong and Huo Yuhao were attacked by three Soul King assassins while walking back to their dormitory, but Wang Dong overwhelmed them with his Clear Sky Hammer. Two attackers were down and the leader lay gravely injured as Wang Dong blamed Dai Huabin.
