Background / History
Ma Xiaotao is Yan Shaozhe’s disciple. For years, he watched her suffer from the Evil Fire Phoenix’s backlash without being able to resolve it. Despite this condition, she became a six-ring Soul Emperor before nineteen 26 27.
During another loss of control, she raced across Sea God Lake engulfed in flames. Detecting Huo Yuhao’s faint but unusually pure ice aura, she seized her and attempted to absorb it. The aura was insufficient to suppress the fire, while Ma Xiaotao’s heat scorched Huo Yuhao’s clothes and caused minor burns 25 26.
Wang Dong forcibly separated them. Ma Xiaotao then clung to him in desperation, prompting him to offer blood from a bitten finger. The blood suppressed her evil fire and initiated purification, but she continued drinking despite his attempts to withdraw, until he fainted. She subsequently collapsed as well and remained unconscious two days later 26 27.
