She Long was born into a poor commoner family that could not afford to send him to school. His mutated martial soul and innate soul power above level nine earned him Spirit Hall’s support, allowing him to become a Titled Douluo and elder 1 11.

His grandson’s parents were Spirit Hall stewards who died during an operation against evil soul masters. She Long’s secret assignment in Heaven Dou City kept him away from Spirit City, where the child initially lived under an old steward’s care. After She Fei narrowly survived a lightning strike, She Long sought Qian Renxue’s help in moving him to the Crown Prince’s Residence. She accepted the request, presented the child as an orphan she had taken in, and renamed him Zhang Fei 1.
