No Emperor-class Titan carried melee weapons. Beneath the radiant light of the Machine God, even the most deranged enemies would flee in terror at the sight of one.

The Tech-Priests chanted hymns with feverish devotion. Standing inside an Emperor-class Titan was an honor most members of the Adeptus Mechanicus would never dare dream of. Compared with the intangible Machine God, this pinnacle of power they could see and touch was the dream of a lifetime.

The thick Void Shields rippled, and the Emperor-class Titan turned slightly. Along its flank stood three Ammonite Cultists, two Hierodules, one Titan Snail, and three Electro-Servitor Controllers. Above them flew a Harridan, a creature worthy of being called a flying Titan.

You dare call yourselves Titans?

The Great Expedition was a Warhounder-pattern Titan, equipped with the most powerful offensive arsenal in the entire Imperium. The Deathstrike Missile mentioned earlier, a single shot of which could kill a Titan, came in a whole Missile Pod here. Eight Deathstrike Missiles were mounted on its right arm, with an exceptionally stable Laser Cannon occupying the center of the three-by-three array.

Its right arm was armed to the teeth, and its left was hardly lacking: twin Avenger-class cannons, ready to give a vivid demonstration of what it meant to settle every problem with artillery.

Twelve banks of Void Shields easily stopped the streams of Bio-plasma. The Great Expedition's machine spirit regarded the plasma-spewing Electro-Servitor Controllers with contempt. Beneath their tiny faces were enormous plasma outlets, while huge, bulging snail shells rode on their backs, presumably storing plasma. They were probably variants of the Titan Snail.

Hah. Are you trying to piss on me?

The Avenger-class cannons found the Electro-Servitor Controllers first. The Emperor-class Titan outranged its enemies by a wide margin, allowing it to strike first every time.
