The Lord of Drakes had lain dormant in the Warp for so long, yet he had only managed to form a skeleton.

An enormous skeleton gripped a massive hammer and charged at Boomblasta. His path led through the gaping hole Boomblasta's earlier psychic blast had torn open, a remnant of the power unleashed when Gork and Mork battered Vulkan's body with psychic bombardment and manifested in the material world.

Boomblasta activated Gork's Gaze, a powerful beam weapon.

The massive hammer lit up.

This hammer was called Destruction Tremor, forged after Vulkan lost the Dawn Hammer. It could absorb incoming energy and return it to the enemy... in the form of a hammer blow.

The beam from Gork's Gaze was completely absorbed. Boomblasta attacked Vulkan with psychic power and roaring fury, firing every weapon it had, but to little effect.

Psychic pressure had almost no effect on the enormous skeleton, and bullets of every size flew through the gaps between his bones.

Vulkan charged up to the Boomblasta Mech at incredible speed and smashed one of its suits of armour with a single hammer blow.

The full power of Gork's Gaze was returned to the Ork's armour, the tremendous surge triggering a massive explosion.

Both combatants were blasted away.

Vulkan was very weak. The explosion hurled him all the way to the Weirdboss's battlefield. Meanwhile, every pipe connecting Boomblasta's mech to its external equipment was severed by the violent blast. Although it only flew back a few metres before hitting the inner wall of the next layer of armour, the consequences were devastating.
