The Warp----

"You mean our boyz took a humie as their boss?"

In the Warp, two enormous Orks were mucking about.

One had powerful muscles and carried a big club that looked dead killy and dead WAAAGH!, yet he wore a pair of tactical targeting goggles meant for artillery.

The other Ork carried a cannon that looked enormous, dead WAAAGH!, and downright nasty, yet he wore gauntlets meant for brawling.

Had an Imperial Inquisitor or scholar specializing in Orks been there, they probably would have recognized the pair.

The Orks worshipped gods named Gork and Mork, and there was a great difference between them.

Gork was brutal but cunning, preferring to ambush you from the front, while Mork was cunning but brutal, preferring to give you a mighty kick from behind.

Gork and Mork always argued over all sorts of things, such as whether a Big Choppa or a Big Shoota was better, or whether to charge straight in with a WAAAGH! or fire a volley first.

In short, these two Ork gods seemed perpetually locked in endless arguments over one thing or another.

Today, however, Gork and Mork had stopped clobbering each other over the head because there was something they could not quite understand.

A bunch of Ork Boyz had WAAAGH!ed a bloody enormous swarm of Tyranids to death, and Gork and Mork had long since heard the Great Devourer's impotent roars of fury in the Warp.

That had delighted Gork and Mork, because their Ork Boyz had finally killed a powerful opponent instead of beating up their own kind every day like a bunch of pig-brained idiots.

They had hated those Tyranids for ages. Those Tyranids never fought fair and always liked pulling sneaky tricks.
