A squadron of Valkyries swept across the sky, charging fearlessly toward the steadily advancing Legio Ignatum.
The traitorous Titan Legion advanced like a range of mountains, and countless "torches" flared among those peaks as the traitors' antiaircraft guns lit up like stars in the heavens.
Facing the oncoming rain of fire, Squadron Commander Streka gave his final orders.

The Valkyries bravely pierced the rain of fire and unleashed their missiles upon the Emperor's enemies.
But despair followed: every missile struck the shields, while the oncoming fire tore through the Valkyrie squadron with ease.
Streka could no longer see ahead. He wiped the blood from his eyes, then felt the wind howling around him.
"Squadron 119, prepare for a second attack."
But now, the communications channel was utterly silent.
Streka gave a faint chuckle. He looked down at the mountainlike Titan War Machine below, then pushed the control stick forward.

Enormous green flames erupted from the Warlord Titan's back. The behemoth took two lumbering steps forward, then stopped moving.
Cheers erupted from the Imperial lines, and a barrage of heavy artillery fire rained down upon the Titan Legion.
But mere moments later, the colossal god-machine began moving again.
The hope that had just risen among the Imperial troops was extinguished in an instant.
