  • Bona escaped Trazyn’s trap, later created a human-bodied Trazyn, rejected Vre Vem’s offer, and drove the war against the T'au until they agreed to a prisoner exchange.
  • Bona and Gell defended Asdenak’s energy hub so its cannon could burn the Ancient Ship, then Bona opened a Warp Rift that severed the Tyranids from the Great Devourer.

  • Szarekh named Bona the Silent King, and Bona announced an alliance between the Necrons and the Thunderhawk Empire.

Arc 5The Damocles Gulf War

Bona’s empire fought the T'au while he pursued alliances and weapons, and the conflict spread across Anreva, Phelio, and the Damocles Gulf. After Bona broke the T'au blockade and recovered the Psyker Beacon Tower, both sides agreed to a prisoner exchange on T'au'n, though Farsight remained wary.

  • Bona rejected Vre Vem’s offer of cooperation and demanded T'au surrender their sovereignty, prompting both empires to prepare for war as Farsight and Shadowsun rallied against the human advance.
  • Horus’s forces invaded Anreva, routed its defenses, and executed human T'au troops as traitors, while the wider war on Phelio exacted heavy casualties from both sides.
  • Farsight and Shadowsun launched counterattacks against Imperial forces, while Perturabo’s assault on Larsk ended in retreat after Aeldari and Imperial reinforcements intervened and the Iron Blood was destroyed.
  • Bona completed the Fear of the Living virus and sent his fleet to reinforce the Damocles Gulf, where Horus’s forces were trapped by the T'au blockade and Farsight’s attack on the Luna Wolves inflicted heavy losses.
  • Bona used Mag'drala'ros to turn T'au ships against one another, broke the blockade, and retook the Psyker Beacon Tower after Thunder Warriors captured the T'au flagship.
  • The T'au council accepted a prisoner exchange on T'au'n after Horus proposed a ceasefire, but Farsight suspected a deeper human plan and remained uneasy about the promised limits on Imperial forces.

Arc 6The Ancient Ship War

Bona led the Dawn Army through the fall of the T'au Empire and a desperate assault on the Ancient Ship, then vanished into the Warp Rift after severing the Tyranids from the Great Devourer. As the survivors dealt with the aftermath, Sanguinius set out for Vigilus and Trazyn secretly kept a chainsword from the Ancient Ship.

  • The Tyranids overran Asdenak and delayed its cannon, but Bona and Gell defended the energy hub long enough for the weapon to fire and badly burn the Ancient Ship.
  • When the cannon failed to destroy the ship, Bona rallied humans and Orks to board it, then opened a Warp Rift in the Ventricular Chamber that severed its connection to the Great Devourer.
  • The Lamenters and Imperial forces helped break the Tyranid assault, but Bona disappeared into the Warp Rift and Magnus later told Horus that Bona should be all right for now.
  • Valdor guided the Thunder Warriors back toward Cabalide, while Guilliman and Sanguinius discussed the crisis on Vigilus and Sanguinius decided to go there.
  • Trazyn stored the Ancient Ship’s severed head in his Tesseract Labyrinth and secretly kept a chainsword embedded in its brain.
