Arc 1Bona’s Return

Bona’s wish to help humanity led him from the Great Crusade into the Warp, where he witnessed the Horus Heresy and became a powerful force in its devastation. Ten thousand years later, he awakened, reunited with Horus, and opened a path to the Emperor, who remained upon the Golden Throne.

  • Bona begged to help at the northern front, rallied routed soldiers, and destroyed a War Fortress with his psychic power, though the blast killed most of the forces nearby.
  • Bona studied the Thunder Warriors’ unstable genes and developed a treatment that restored Scher’s memory, prompting the Emperor to abandon his order to execute the uncontrollable warriors.
  • The Four Gods drew Bona into the Warp and showed him visions of the Imperium’s future, while Horus grew resentful of Bona’s place in the Emperor’s esteem.

Arc 2The Eastern Fringe Campaign

Bona gathered allies and rescued Yvraine from Commorragh, then recruited Astartes under Huron Blackheart and began building a force in the Eastern Fringe. After taking control of Taranct III and proposing reforms for its people and armies, Bona arrived at a remote Forge World to seek support.

  • Bona stole a relic from the cathedral on Atas, learned about the Ecclesiarchy, and agreed with Horus to build forces in the Eastern Fringe.
  • Bona lured the Drukhari to the Righteous Protector and entered Commorragh, where he rescued Bals and Gagags before finding Yvraine.
  • Bona opened a Warp rift to bring daemons into Commorragh, escaped with Yvraine and Visarch, and used her dreams to show her Roboute Guilliman.

Arc 3The Dawn Crusade

  • Bona forced Archmagos Antonia to accept the Edict of the Black Adeptus Mechanicus, and Antonia joined as its first Fabricator-General.
