Saul's voice grew low, like thunder before a storm.
"Knowing them, they're definitely holed up back home right now, on the fringes of their core star systems, frantically building fortifications."
He lowered his head and looked at Ghazghk.
"Ghazghk, do you remember... do you remember those technologies the T'au Empire was so proud of?"
"Remember? Of course I remember! Ghazghk wouldn't forget even if you twisted his head off and kicked it around like a ball!" Ghazghk waved his arms excitedly, his mechanical arm tracing complex formulas in the air. "Those blue-skins' underlying code is like an instruction manual full of jokes! Their engineering mechanics are as rigid as a compressed biscuit that's been trampled on for three days! Just give Ghazghk a pile of scrap, even a pile of rusty screws, and Ghazghk can poke their firewalls full of holes! Turn their drones into our remote-controlled toys!"
"Good." Saul nodded, then looked at Sharpfang, who was eagerly sharpening his blade nearby.
"Sharpfang."
"Here, Big Boss! My choppa's thirstin' for blood!" Sharpfang snapped upright with a clang of metal, murderous intent spreading from him like something tangible.
"This planet," Saul said, pointing at the endless scrapyard beneath their feet, "has countless warship wrecks, countless discarded engines and weapons. This is my first gift to you."
"I want you to turn this junk into a fleet, right here, as fast as you can."
"Then," Saul's voice took on a chill, "I want you to use the Dimensional Engine Ghazghk invented to bypass the Imperial Navy's blockade and jump straight into the T'au Empire's rear."
"Infiltrate their worlds, dismantle their factories, corrupt their AI, and turn their fortifications into piles of scrap."
Saul paused, a flicker of undisguised killing intent passing through his golden eyes.
"Before my main fleet weighs anchor again
