"Damn it! Unit Two! Unit Three! Fire! Open fire!" Tor screamed over the comms. "Forget about me! Kill him!"

The other two Tidal Battlesuits hesitated for a second.

Just one second.

But that second decided the outcome of the battle.

Saul had already located the cockpit. He raised his Power Sword overhead, the golden light along its blade growing blinding, then... thrust it down!

The sword pierced half a meter of composite armor, punched through the inner protective plating and the back of the pilot's seat, and finally skewered Tor's chest.

Tor looked down at the sword tip jutting from his chest, his eyes filled with disbelief.

"Why..." Blue blood welled from his mouth. "Why, when we're both living beings... is the difference so vast..."

Saul did not answer. He pulled his sword free and leaped down from the now-powerless battlesuit.

The massive Tidal Battlesuit swayed a few times, then crashed to the ground, throwing up clouds of dust.

The remaining two Tidal Battlesuits finally opened fire.

But their pilots were already gripped by fear. Their attacks grew erratic, their accuracy plummeting.

Saul raced through the gaps in the barrage like a beast on the hunt. His target was the Tidal Battlesuit on the left.

Seeing Saul approach, its pilot made a fatal mistake in his panic: he activated the battlesuit's self-destruct sequence.

"At least... at least I'll take you with me!" the pilot roared.

The reactor began to overload.

Saul sensed something was wrong. He immediately changed direction and retreated at full speed.

Three seconds later, the Tidal Battlesuit exploded.

An enormous fireball rose into the sky, its shock wave sweeping across hundreds of meters. The blast even reached the Space Marines and T'au soldiers fighting in the distance, hurling troops from both sides off their feet.
