Trazyn's screams echoed through the exhibition hall.
But Liu Zhipeng ignored him completely.
He pinned Trazyn to a display stand covered with exquisite porcelain, smashing the pieces with his face.
"These porcelains came from an ancient civilization in the Far East..."
"Crash!"
"I don't want to hear it."
He hurled Trazyn into another display case containing enormous crystals.
"Those crystals came from the core of a planet..."
"Shatter!"
"I still don't want to hear it."
Finally, Liu Zhipeng pinned Trazyn to the floor and gave him a brilliant smile.
"Old Trazyn, thanks for your hospitality. Your C'tan Shards tasted great."
"You... you robber..." Trazyn said weakly. "I'll... I'll turn you... into a specimen..."
"Maybe next time."
"No!"
Trazyn tried to get up and stop him, but it was already too late.
Golden light enveloped Liu Zhipeng, and a moment later, he vanished from the exhibition hall.
All that remained was the wrecked hall and Trazyn, lying on the floor and questioning his existence.
After a long while, Trazyn finally got up.
He looked at the ruined collection around him, the ghostly green flames in his eye sockets dimming to almost nothing.
"My... my collection..."
He walked over to the seven empty display stands and reached out with a trembling hand.
"My C'tan Shards..."
Suddenly, his anger vanished.
His sorrow vanished.
In their place came a sick, feverish excitement.
"If I could catch him... if I could study him..."
Fanatical light blazed in Trazyn's eyes once more.
"I must catch him! I must add him to my collection!"
