Liu Zhipeng rallied the Aeldari, helped defeat the Chaos assaults on Cadia and Macragge, and enabled Yvraine to resurrect Guilliman. After Guilliman returned, Liu and Yvraine traveled to Commorragh, where Liu crashed into Vect’s gladiatorial arena.

• Liu Zhipeng saved Iyanden from the Tyranids, defeated the Hive Tyrant with Yriel, and persuaded Yriel to join his alliance.
• Liu Zhipeng gathered the Craftworlds on Aethenia, but Fulgrim and Slaahe Hekbehn attacked, forcing him to hold off the daemons while the Aeldari escaped through the Webway.
• Liu Zhipeng helped drive Abaddon’s forces from Cadia, where Cawl’s blackstone Obelisks sealed off the Warp and Liu killed Abaddon.
• Liu Zhipeng led an expedition through the Webway to Macragge, where he and the allied forces battled Mortarion and the Nurgle daemons as Cawl and Yvraine revived Guilliman.
• Guilliman returned to battle, and Liu Zhipeng helped him defeat Ku’gath, Scabeiathrax, and Mortarion before Guilliman accepted Liu’s offer of cooperation.
• Liu Zhipeng and Yvraine traveled to Commorragh to seek souls for awakening Ynnead, and Liu crashed into Asdrubael Vect’s gladiatorial arena.

Liu Zhipeng led the Aeldari into Slaanesh’s palace and sacrificed himself to wound the god, then reincarnated among the Orks and turned enslaved Gretchin into a growing army. After defeating Gurlok and capturing Rust Fungus Mine, he used it as a base for further attacks on Ork strongholds.

• Liu Zhipeng freed Xilis from Slaanesh’s hunger, then persuaded Vect to accept purification and lead the Drukhari into an alliance against Chaos.
• The Aeldari and Imperial forces fought to defend the four Blackstone Obelisks, but the Four Gods destroyed three and the final one failed as the Eye of Terror expanded.
• Liu Zhipeng led the Aeldari into Slaanesh’s palace, where the Ember Legion endured the six rings and Vect sacrificed himself to help the survivors reach the throne.
• Liu Zhipeng detonated his soul, wounding Slaanesh and driving the other Chaos Gods’ manifestations away, and Yvraine led the surviving Aeldari back to realspace.
• Liu Zhipeng reincarnated among Orks, rallied the Gretchin, and organized them into the Ember Company with Ghazghk, Sharpfang, and Snot in leadership roles.
• The Ember Company armed itself with rifles and armor, defeated Gurlok’s Ork force, and attracted Gretchin escaping from enslavement.
• Liu Zhipeng’s Gretchin built weapons and Liberator Gundams, captured Rust Fungus Mine, freed more than ten thousand slaves, and expanded the army to nearly sixty thousand.

Liu Zhipeng conquered Ironfang Fortress, built Hope Star, and escaped an Imperial crusade after a Necron tomb awakened. He then joined the T'au battle on Jade VII, where a Tyranid invasion forced him to sacrifice the Justice Enforcer to cover a breakout.

• Liu Zhipeng defeated Grob Muchcoin, took Ironfang Fortress, and declared it the City of Hope as Inquisitor Valerius assembled a crusade against him.
• Liu Zhipeng imposed new laws, built a fleet and Vanguard mechs, established the Gretchin Ecclesiarchy, and discovered a sleeping Necron army beneath Deep Shaft Number 7.
• Valerius attacked Hope Star, but Liu's forces resisted long enough to evacuate before an Imperial Lance strike awakened the Necrons and trapped Valerius's fleet.
• Liu's fleet emerged in a T'au battle on Jade VII, where the Lighthouse accidentally destroyed an Ork landing craft, and Liu persuaded Qingliu to provide repairs and supplies.
• Liu covertly armed and recruited Gretchin, then used a massive rocket barrage and a rising uprising to devastate Skullkrak's forces alongside the T'au.
• Liu deceived the T'au into believing his forces would serve as the anvil, while secretly preparing veteran troops and mechs as a hidden hammer and sending Madeye in the Justice Enforcer toward Skullkrak's flagship.
• A Tyranid swarm descended on Jade VII and overwhelmed the Orks, Gretchin, and T'au, forcing Suisxing to order a retreat.
• Liu promised Suisxing that the Justice Enforcer would clear a path, then ordered Madeye to welcome the Tyranids, and Madeye detonated the mech in a golden blast.

Liu Zhipeng used Jade VII to build the City of Hope and lead the Gretchin in rebellion, but Gork and Mork’s empowered Saraka shattered their defenses and killed Liu Zhipeng. In his next life, Liu Zhipeng guided Sarah’s resistance through miraculous interventions, and the Sons of Sorrow found her newborn son while trapped in a mine.

• Suisxing and the T’au helped the Gretchin survive the Tyranid assault on Jade VII, then Suisxing killed the Broodlord while Sharpfang’s forces drew its guards away.
• Liu Zhipeng revealed the hidden Gretchin army, defeated Skullkrak, and secured Jade VII, which grew into the industrial City of Hope.
• Liu Zhipeng’s dimensional engines and weapons spread Gretchin uprisings across the galaxy, while the T’au withdrew support and Saraka led an Ork assault on the City of Hope.
• The Gretchin fought through the First Wall and the void, but Saraka returned as Gork and Mork’s empowered avatar and destroyed their defenses.
• Liu Zhipeng died fighting Saraka as Gretchin souls joined him in a golden Divine Realm, and the system began his ninth life with the ability Miracle Probability.
• In his new life, Liu Zhipeng used his soul power and Miracle Probability to help Sarah lead a human slave resistance against the Orks.
• Sarah’s resistance sabotaged Ork supplies, and she killed a Warboss while giving birth as the Sons of Sorrow arrived to free the slaves.
• The Sons of Sorrow found Sarah and her radiant newborn in a collapsed mine, then fought off the Orks before Cassian killed the last attacker and the Marines remained trapped.
