Lucifer, the Lord of Hell, a former Archangel who stood on equal footing with Michael and could beat down all of Hell, found himself in a rare state of bewilderment.

To him, humans were weak, foolish, and incompetent, yet endearing. They were hardly a particularly outstanding creation, but they weren't a failure, either.
But after watching Zaragu's memories, Lucifer began to wonder whether he'd been viewing humanity through excessively rose-tinted glasses.
