Yes, I know this came out of nowhere, and I know this book has clearly ended badly. First, I want to apologize to all the dear readers who have supported me all this time.
This useless author really has let you down. I'm truly sorry for wasting your enthusiasm. I'm sorry m(._.)m.
Now, let me explain why I'm ending things so suddenly. Really, there's only one main reason: I'm broke.
I honestly really like Zuo Ci, along with every good guy who has appeared in the story. I'd already planned out plenty of what came next, and I really, really wanted to keep writing his story.
But passion alone can't put food on the table. As you can all see, whether it's active readers, views, or ratings, this book's numbers are all pretty low. That's not your fault. I'm just not good enough.
And precisely because my writing isn't good enough, my daily income now doesn't even cover my meals. Working sixteen hours a day, six days a week, and still going hungry is honestly a bit too much to bear, never mind all my other everyday expenses.
So I really have no choice. Even this author has to eat.
