"All right, we're here. Get out."
With a screech, Zuo Ci slammed on the brakes and brought the vehicle to a dead stop right in the middle of the road.
"We're already at the Iceberg Lounge? But this doesn't look like it."
Penguin, who had nearly been thrown out by the sudden stop, struggled to steady himself. Yet no matter which way he looked, this place bore no resemblance to his base.
They were indeed in the wealthy district, but his lounge was still at least two blocks away. Had the navigation led them to the wrong place?
Since the Remote Control had been triggered, the remaining strongholds had received a warning. After checking in with Batman, they had temporarily changed their approach.
Batman stuck to the original plan, continuing to hunt down Bane and search for Homeless Man.
Gordon and his officers stopped attacking the strongholds and instead evacuated the surrounding civilians, clearing the areas before launching their strikes.
Zuo Ci had recruited Penguin and Poison Ivy. The plan was to visit Penguin's base first and bring out his men to bolster their forces, then meet up with Gordon to deal with the other strongholds.
But they had barely begun the first step before trouble arrived.
"Of course this isn't it. The Iceberg Lounge is still several kilometers away.
"The main problem is that a whole bunch of roadblocks just spawned up ahead. Getting through won't be easy."
Hearing that, Penguin craned his neck and discovered that several large Experiments had appeared ahead of them at some point and were wreaking havoc.
"W-what do we do now?"
"Don't worry. Go on ahead and find a way to get your boys over here. The two of us can handle things here."
Cobblepot didn't hesitate after hearing those instructions. He saluted,
