Cultivation Secrets Revealed 18: From Xue Xue's Self-Destruction and the Opening of Heaven and Earth, Discussing Immortals of the Immortal Realm (Heavenly Dao Xiao Hua)

In "Light Escape on Xiaoyu Continent," Xiao Hua, at the early Golden Core stage, was pursued by two Nascent Souls. Xue Xue, a gifted prophet, sent Xiao Hua fleeing into the depths of the sea, then helplessly self-destructed alongside Xiao Hua's master. As the first soul to enter the space behind Xiao Hua's head, Xue Xue caused that space to divide into yin and yang—the opening of heaven and earth. Xue Xue's self-destruction left many Xue fans furious. For instance, "Why Must You Be So Obsessed" remained fixated on this matter. In truth, Xue Xue's self-destruction, along with Zhang Xiao Hua changing his name to Xiao Hua in the second part, had long been foreshadowed and laid out by Tan Hua. Xue Xue's self-destruction had been foreshadowed more than once; it could be called "within reason," yet beyond some readers' "expectations." Of course, that is beside the point and irrelevant to this article, so it will not be discussed further. Beginning with the yin-yang division and opening of heaven and earth in the space behind Xiao Hua's head, this article will discuss the immortals of the Immortal Realm.

Let us call them "Primordial Remnant Immortals" for now. These immortals were born when heaven and earth first opened. Their strength was extraordinary. Whether they ascended to the God Realm or remained in forgotten corners of the Immortal Realm, Tan Hua would surely reveal them to us one by one during the middle and later stages of the Immortal Realm.

I. Classification of Low- and Mid-Level Immortals in the Immortal Realm

1. Conventional classification: Ascended Immortals, native immortals, and smuggled immortals

a. Those who ascended from the lower realms through lightning tribulations were Ascended Immortals. Low-level immortals had to pass through the Immortal Realm's Black Qi Kill, while high-level immortals had to endure both the Black Qi Kill and White Light Kill. Thus, Ascended Immortals were extremely powerful. They accounted for five-thousandths of the immortals in the Immortal Realm.

b. Native immortals were descendants of the Immortal Realm. Those unable to cultivate were mortals; only those capable of cultivating and condensing Immortal Marks were immortals. They accounted for more than 95 percent of the immortals in the Immortal Realm.

c. Immortals who entered the Immortal Realm through Side Gates, via Feather Immortal organizations and other irregular channels, were smuggled immortals, such as Chu Yu. Others entered through selection, such as Xu Zhi, who entered through the selection of Earth's Sole Cultivator. Those who entered the Immortal Realm through such Side Gates were often relatively weak, unable to reach the Mortal Immortal realm. For example, Xu Zhi had only reached the Core Formation stage when he first entered the Immortal Realm. 2. Immortal Mark classification. Immortal Marks resembled the spiritual roots of the Cultivation World and were one means by which a god of the God Realm harvested Power of Faith.

a. Those without Immortal Marks were Mortal Immortals. They could not be listed on the Immortal Roster and were the lowest-ranking immortals in the Immortal Realm.

3. Realm classification: Dao cultivation and Confucian Cultivation

a. For Dao cultivation, low-level immortals primarily cultivated with immortal spiritual qi and were also called qi immortals. From high to low, they were Spirit Transformation Immortals, Essence Gathering Immortals, Two Qi Immortals, Five Elements Immortals, Evolving Immortals, and Leaking Immortals.

From high to low, they were demigods (Virtual Gods), Heavenly Venerates (great powers of antiquity), Immortal Venerate-level Primordial Immortals, Primordial Immortals, Taiyi Immortals, Daluo Immortals, Nine Palaces Immortals, Golden Immortals, Celestial Immortals, and True Immortals. Xu Zhi became one after consuming a Sacred Lotus Seed.

II. Classification of High-Level or Peak Immortals in the Immortal Realm

It was predicted that there would be three kinds of high-level or peak immortals in the Immortal Realm.

1. The three disciple brothers of Mount Moban and their master

Of the three disciple brothers from Mount Moban, their Senior Disciple Brother had not appeared. It was predicted that his cultivation and strength were at the level of a Virtual God in the God Realm. When he detected a female immortal whose Universe-Shaking Bright Stone had mutated, he did not even take it seriously, though that person's cultivation was only at the Heavenly Venerate level. His strength could well be imagined. As for the master of the three disciple brothers from Mount Moban, his strength could naturally be guessed as well.

2. The force behind the Purple Gold Ship

The force behind the Purple Gold Ship should have been Ancient True Immortals. The little girl had been able to activate a supreme immortal artifact from a very young age, and she was not even in the Immortal Realm. This showed that there were still places where immortals existed. Let us call them Ancient True Immortals for now. According to Tan Hua's logic in the earlier parts of Cultivating Gods, if Xiao Hua was to obtain cultivation higher than immortals of the same realm, without time being a factor, it could only be through opportunities—such as the Heavenly Prison, the Primordial Continent, Star Moon Palace, and so on. Surely Tan Hua would make the same arrangements in the Immortal Realm.
