Then he had the Second Prince place the stone on it as well. After it made contact, they picked up the stones again and walked forward, toward what seemed to be an extremely deep and distant place.
There was no light whatsoever ahead. Neither the Second Prince nor Uchiha Hikaru had brought any lighting equipment, and both of them felt a little flustered, unsure of what to do.
"Do you have anything special, Second Prince? I don't think we can see anything at all in here." Uchiha Hikaru felt that the Second Prince must have some other device on him that could light the way ahead.
But the Second Prince immediately shook his head. Some things were simply beyond his abilities, and he was powerless when it came to lighting equipment like this.
