In less than a second, Uchiha Hikaru had already leaped across. He had crossed the mire and landed nearly two units away on the opposite bank.
"I never expected these shoes to be so powerful. I really wonder what would happen if that stone were added." Thinking about it, when strengthening his power, Uchiha Hikaru could surely use these shoes to write even more legends.
The Second Prince told him that adding the stone would have no effect. The stone's function was to enhance one's own abilities; it had no other effect on the weapons around them.
Weapon enhancement should have its own specialized stones for that sort of thing. The Second Prince did not want to discuss it further with Uchiha Hikaru right now. He needed Uchiha Hikaru's help so that he could soar into the air and fly across as well.
"Tell me, Second Prince. What do you want me to do?" Uchiha Hikaru slowly walked to the opposite bank and waited for the Second Prince's reply.
"Uchiha Hikaru, throw the shoes over here and let me try crossing like that too. I actually wanted to try it yesterday." Suddenly, the Second Prince stretched out his hand and gestured for him to throw them back.
It seemed the Second Prince did not harbor any malicious thoughts. At that moment, Uchiha Hikaru felt there was nothing wrong with returning the shoes to their owner. It would save some time, and the Second Prince seemed to have come to his senses a little.
