Uchiha Hikaru nodded as well. Because he could understand these things, his thoughts could, no matter what, find some common ground with the Second Prince's.
"I know, and I'm feeling very devout right now too. But I've never heard that you need devout hands to climb up." Uchiha Hikaru was still helpless, because he felt this was simply too exhausting.
What was more, he did not even have gloves. He needed to keep everything under perfect control; otherwise, he too would suffer quite a few mishaps along the way.
Presumably, he had never suffered such hardship before. But thinking it over, since the Village Chief had invited them so warmly, it was still better than merely looking from afar.
Comparatively speaking, this statue was quite tall, and the direction it faced should have been the Imperial Palace.
"Do you know, Uchiha Yun? Once we reach this height, we can see where the First Prince works." The Second Prince said this to him, seeming to know quite a bit about this construction.
"Really? Does that mean the people here all look toward the Imperial Palace and are ready to do anything for this country at any time?" Even from this inference alone, one could anticipate that much.
"Smart, Uchiha Hikaru. You've even learned to draw inferences now. I thought that was something unique to me." The Second Prince lightly praised him, then slowly accepted the thought.
Even while climbing, they could flatter each other and laugh aloud. Such a life was rather wonderful.
Uchiha Hikaru had never felt irritated merely because he needed to climb so high. He knew that since he had been invited, he had to see it through.
"All right, our lights have stopped here. For this final stretch, we can walk all the way up on foot."
