Once they placed it there, the door opened. According to the rules, the Second Prince was supposed to enter first, followed by Uchiha Hikaru and the First Prince.
After the three of them entered, the door immediately shut behind them. No one else could force their way in, and the only person who could obtain the power ahead was likely the Village Chief.
