On the third day,
Orochimaru didn't come looking for Gua.
On the fourth day,
Orochimaru didn't come looking for Gua. But Itachi did.
"Gua, we have tomorrow off. I want to challenge you to a duel."
Gua stared at Itachi for a full fifty-nine seconds before finally declining his invitation for a rematch.
Mostly, he was utterly drained. He felt as if that one night had used up everything he had. Six years' worth of brainpower, emptied in a single night, leaving him in a stupor.
"All right. Some other time, then."
Itachi was a little disappointed.
Ever since awakening his three tomoe, he had wanted to test himself against Gua.
Three tomoe at six years old. There was no way that wouldn't go to his head.
If you got an acceptance letter from Tsinghua at six, your ego would soar even higher than his.
On the fifth day,
Orochimaru finally couldn't sit still anymore. Gua had the day off, so why hadn't he come looking for him?
Orochimaru took the initiative and went to Gua's house,
only to discover that Gua wasn't there.
"Where's Gua?"
"No idea. He went out to play. What's the matter, Lord Orochimaru? Did you need him for something?"
Uchiha Oyama was reading the newspaper and asked out of curiosity.
Orochimaru shook his head. "No, nothing."
Then Orochimaru left again.
Gua really wasn't home. Since he had the day off, he had gone out, planning to check on Naruto.
The kid had neither a father nor a mother, and the old Third Generation barely looked after him.
Gua planned to be a positive influence on him so he wouldn't stray down the wrong path.
After all, he had already changed the timeline plenty. Who knew whether that might open up some unique timeline where Naruto
