Behind a wooden house, three Tsuchigakure shinobi huddled together, one of them muttering quietly.
Another shinobi, a heavily built man, ignored his companion's muttering,
and instead looked at the tall, thin man beside him.
"Shu, will these explosives really work?"
Shu stamped hard on the soil beneath his feet and grinned.
"Don't worry, Captain Bunga!"
"Once this goes off, it'll blow those three little brats to bits."
As he spoke, Shu glanced in a certain direction without moving his body, seemingly checking whether the people over there had noticed them.
Bunga narrowed his eyes.
"If you say it'll work, Shu, then it'll work. Xintu, find a way to lure those three brats over here."
Xintu froze for a moment.
He looked at Bunga.
"Say, if Konoha dared to leave the Three Little Ones here, could this be a trap? Could they be deliberately baiting us? After all, that's Uchiha Gua..."
At the thought of the name Uchiha Gua, Xintu's imagination ran wild, even though he had never met him.
He couldn't help it.
Uchiha Gua was far too famous.
His name had spread almost as widely as those of the Yellow Flash, the White Fang of Konoha, and Kakashi Hatake.
But those men had earned their reputations across the villages through years of word of mouth and actual feats in battle.
Gua, however, was only seven.
He had never even taken part in a war, yet his talent alone had made him famous throughout the shinobi world.
That alone showed just how absurdly gifted Uchiha Gua was.
