Faced with Orochimaru's ridiculously impressive research results, Gua saw no reason to hold back. He immediately asked Orochimaru to copy them out for him.
Why didn't he copy them himself?
Because Gua was lazy.
There was another reason, too: he was afraid he wouldn't know which parts mattered and might copy something incorrectly or leave something out.
Orochimaru was more than happy to do it.
So naturally, Gua left it to him.
While Orochimaru copied everything out, Gua wandered around the laboratory, taking a look around.
Well, what do you know? In the two or three months since his last visit, Orochimaru's laboratory really had gained plenty of strange new contraptions.
There was a bicycle, an air conditioner, and a fan. There even seemed to be two brick-sized mobile phones sitting on the table...
Was this place about to leap straight into modern society?
Once Orochimaru finished copying, he handed his copy to Gua, then took him to have his blood drawn.
The blood draw was simple and followed proper procedure.
Orochimaru had started paying attention to hygiene now.
He filled a brand-new test tube about halfway with blood.
Orochimaru looked as though he'd found a priceless treasure, his eyes shining as he stared at the faintly scarlet blood in the tube.
"Gua, what do you think is actually in your blood?"
Gua: ...
Surely there can't be a cheat in my blood, right?
The system should be bound to my soul.
Yeah, that's right.
"Go ahead and test it, then. I'll head out."
"All right, Gua. Stay safe."
After calling that out to Gua, Orochimaru excitedly hurried over to a lab bench with the half tube of blood he'd just drawn.
Gua's lips twitched. With Orochimaru's copied analysis of Dust Release tucked away, he left on his own.
