Under Gua's stare, Naruto grew a little embarrassed and chuckled sheepishly.
Gua: !!!
You've still got the nerve to laugh!
You really are something else!
Naruto scratched his head.
"I didn't know this was your friend's friend's house..."
Gua: ...
Gua slowly turned his head and stared stiffly at the two colorful door gods painted on either side of the door.
He wondered whether Karin Uzumaki and her mother would lose it.
Getting this kind of treatment right after arriving in Konoha would probably make anyone else think they were already being bullied.
But he couldn't exactly explain to them that this wasn't bullying.
After all, bullying really did happen in Konoha.
Karin probably wouldn't escape it in the future, either.
Gua thought Naruto was an absolute little menace.
Oh, boy...
He silently sighed to himself.
Just as Gua reached out to push the door open, it creaked and opened from inside.
Little Karin froze slightly when she saw Gua at the entrance, stopping before she could step outside.
"Big Brother Gua?"
Gua rubbed his nose.
Beside him, Naruto rubbed his nose too.
Looking utterly baffled, Little Karin turned toward one side of the wooden door.
"?"
Little Karin stared at the little blond figure on the doorframe, and it stared back.
Then she whipped her head around to look at Gua.
Then she turned to look at Naruto.
Then she turned to look at the paint bucket Naruto was carrying.
Then she turned to look at the wooden door.
At that moment, Little Karin's mind was racing through every possibility.
Had Gua brought someone to block her door?
Had Gua brought someone to bully her family?
Had Gua specifically found someone to paint two door gods for her?
Was this a Konoha custom?
Little Karin simply couldn't figure it
