Gua hurriedly waved his hands.
"No, no, thanks."
He was genuinely afraid Orochimaru would jab some unregulated product into his body. He couldn't take that.
Even if Orochimaru had no intention of harming him, he was still afraid Orochimaru might harm him unintentionally.
Gua felt he needed to learn to protect himself.
Gua left Orochimaru's place, taking a White Zetsu with him.
White Zetsu was like an NPC. When Gua took a step, he took a step, following him every step of the way.
He always stayed one step away from Gua.
Their movements were perfectly in sync.
Gua turned his head, and White Zetsu turned his head too.
Gua stopped, and White Zetsu stopped too.
Gua stamped his foot on the ground, and White Zetsu stamped his foot on the ground too!
Gua: ...
Damn it, didn't you say you were giving me an NPC?
You fucking gave me a mimic.
"Stay three steps away from me."
Gua pointed at White Zetsu and ordered him.
White Zetsu took two steps back.
Gua gauged the distance between them and still felt it wasn't right.
"Stay five steps away from me."
White Zetsu took another two steps back, keeping five steps away from Gua.
Gua estimated that there were roughly three or four meters between them now.
He could accept that.
At least it was better than feeling like someone was practically pressed against his back. Earlier, cold sweat had kept breaking out on Gua's back, and he had felt as though a little ghost were clinging to his back and breathing.
Walking felt much better now.
Gua took White Zetsu home.
They drew the gazes of quite a few Konoha villagers along the way.
None of them had ever seen an Impostor.
The fellow following Gua was clearly an Impostor.
