With Dashan's testimony, Nai finally believed it.

Nai didn't think the Third Generation was that sort of person.
Although their family of three had indeed left the village, they had never done anything to harm it. Besides, Danzo had taken power at the time...
Nai had plenty of reasons to believe the Third Generation wouldn't do this.
But...
She couldn't deny the presence of those shinobi outside.
"I don't think they're from Konoha."

Nai froze for a moment.

Dad had an explanation?
Had Dad noticed some detail he'd missed?
And used it to determine that those shinobi weren't from Konoha?
There was a reason he was the dad.
Then Uchiha Oyama offered a reasoned analysis. "We had our reasons for leaving the village, and the Third Generation must know that. Given his personality, he would never send people to hunt us down.
"Besides, these shinobi have appeared in such a remote corner of the Land of Grass. If they're from Konoha, how many shinobi would Konoha have had to deploy?"
After hearing his dad's analysis, Gua finally came to his senses.
The main problem was that he'd been panicking like crazy ever since leaving Konoha. He felt as though he'd tipped off the enemy.
After all, he was still young. Although he'd lived twice, he had only made it to eighteen in his previous life and was just six in this one. His two lifetimes combined weren't even as long as his dad's single lifetime.
On top of that, he hadn't received the systematic training his dad had.
