Two days had passed since the completion of Naruto Bridge and Beiming's appointment as Prime Minister.

Word spread from the Daimyo's Residence that the Prime Minister had executed the culprit who had attempted to blow up the Great Bridge, further strengthening the people of the Land of Waves' faith in their new Prime Minister.

After all, that level of strength alone qualified him to serve as the Daimyo's personal Bodyguard.

What was more, this was the same man who had personally worked on the Land of Waves' free education program and written its textbooks.

Early that morning.

Three men and one woman in unusual clothing arrived in the Land of Waves. After the necessary questioning, the four were escorted to Momoyama Daimyo's Residence by Nagayama, commander of the Personal Guard.

As they watched the people of the Land of Waves respectfully greet Nagayama along the way, Sakon, Kidomaru, Tayuya, and Jirobo privately wondered about him.

They had not expected the middle-aged guard commander sent to receive them to hold such high standing.

"No matter how I look at it, I don't see any potential for development here," Tayuya muttered, looking around.

Sakon frowned and warned the others, "Now that we're here, all of you had better behave. Lord Orochimaru explicitly told us this is that lord's territory."

"Hmph, that's not all," Kidomaru said. "Before we left, Lord Orochimaru said we'd find what we wanted here."

"What we wanted?" Jirobo was slow on the uptake and did not understand the implication.

"Honestly, I still haven't figured out what that meant either. But if that lord hadn't appeared last time, Lord Orochimaru would have killed us," Sakon said.

"Not only that, he was the reason we received the Immortality Potion. We nearly died taking it, but fortunately, we all pulled through."
