He had spent a full hour and more in Genesis World.
After returning to the real world, Naruto went back to his room to refine chakra.
Time slipped by unnoticed.
Meanwhile.
At God's Port, the largest port in the Land of Rain.
A massive merchant ship flying the flag of the Gato Trade Association arrived.
The port immediately filled with dockworkers wearing crude raincoats. Loading and unloading was strenuous physical labor, so all those gathered at the port were burly men.
Kame and the sailors stood on deck in their raincoats, watching from afar.
"This country, honestly. It's either raining or about to rain. It really... puts you in a foul mood."
"A place like this is no good for development."
Listening to the sailors grumble, Kame smiled. "It's precisely because of this country's terrible weather that our association can do business here."
"Yeah."
"You're right, boss. But the people in this country are strange. I noticed it on our last few visits."
The first mate's remark piqued Kame's interest. "Oh? Strange how?"
"They have this sense of superiority that I can't explain," the first mate said, carefully choosing his words. "Their people actually live worse lives than those in the Land of Waves, but I never noticed that inherent sense of superiority among the people there."
The sailors all nodded. Clearly, they had noticed it too.
As the former second-in-command of the Gato Trade Association, Kame naturally knew more of the Land of Rain's secrets.
"Hmph. That sense of superiority comes from the Akatsuki and their so-called god."
At their boss's words, the sailors burst out laughing.
"A god? They actually believe in that stuff? Hahaha..."
"If my god made me go hungry and cold every day, like hell I'd believe in him."
Kame frowned, his expression turning serious.
