Sasuke was woken by the Alarm Clock beside him and instinctively reached out to switch it off.
He opened his eyes, only to find pitch-black darkness before him.
The absolute darkness instantly sent Sasuke into a panic.
He knew that even at night, there was no such thing as absolute darkness. Moonlight, starlight-every speck of light had vanished.
"Where am I? Why can't I mold chakra?"
Sasuke sat up and touched his eyes, only then realizing that they were wrapped in bandages.

Recalling what had happened before he passed out, Sasuke refrained from impulsively removing the bandages. He knew Naruto would never hurt him.

Sasuke called softly a few times but heard no response from Naruto, which left him uneasy.
