In the past, clients from every nation had come to Konoha to post missions, but none had ever been this rude.
The Registration Chunin carefully sized up the four middle-aged men before him again.
Three looked haughty, while the balding man standing in the center looked down at him with outright disdain.
Then he noticed the enormous Combination Lockbox the man was carrying. Even the worldly Registration Chunin began to feel unsure of himself.
"Sir, please quiet down. This is Konoha's Mission Dispatch Hall. Raising your voice is prohibited."
It had to be said that Hongle really had seen the world, and his acting was convincing.
He had put the Registration Chunin in his place right from the start, gaining the upper hand through sheer presence.
Sure enough, when Hongle heard the Registration Chunin's uncertain reminder, he slammed the desk and roared.
"What did you say? How can a Chunin of a hidden village treat a paying client so poorly? I'll have you know I intend to hire several Jonin!"
At those words, the entire mission hall fell silent.
Every ninja who had been busy working turned toward Hongle in shock.
